Blessing’s Journey
My Journey in tech has been a mixture of it being bumpy and smooth-sailing since I completed school. I had the opportunity to do a 2 years internship with a company. I was the I.T Support Assistant where I learned more about the network administrative side and became good at it.
During that time, I had an opportunity at a firm (AFROLYNK) to be their Women Tech Lead. At Afrolynk, I lead projects and contribute to website development. We are currently working on developing 5 business startups. This opportunity has allowed me to develop my programming skills. I’m currently learning Data Science and Python to add to my programming languages.
Throughout this process, I have been having training with a new tech firm that trains Africans on how to work with remote companies. The firm is NAC HUB and their remote work firm is AFRIMOTE. It’s going on well since we started but I am hopeful things will be much better.
So basically, that has been the tech road so far. Sometimes it is smooth and other times not that smooth. But I will still push harder till I get there.
Thanks to DiV and Ivy Barley for her mentorship, her education throughout her social media platforms and the constant support.
