The Problem
The inadequate number of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) roles is a crucial problem for any country that aims at accelerating Science and Technology Advancement.
Females make up more than 50{52e84c63bcc1991aaa809f9fdca0ba526b664e9b34f7b3d4b9b1c6537e52df15} of the population of most African countries and have a great opportunity to play a vital role in the development of products and services. To do more, we need more innovative hands on board!
Our Solution
We train African women in the latest technologies and connect them to life-changing opportunities in the tech ecosystem. Ladies learn using a practical and project-oriented curriculum and are assigned dedicated mentors to provide guidance and support.
After enrolling in our training, ladies are exposed to internship, full-time and remote job opportunities in our partner tech companies. Ultimately, they become part of a vibrant network of young women innovators.
Our Relevance
When women join our community, they are equipped with the knowledge and skills not only to be consumers of technology, but producers of technology. By providing innovative technological solutions to businesses in Africa and beyond, we are helping businesses to reach more customers, generate more revenue and create more jobs.
When tech companies hire from us, there is improved diversity and inclusion in workplaces and better products and services are developed. This is a win-win.
